Adventure Diver training in Koh Lanta with Apo Dhatu Divers

Participating in a PADI Adventure diver with us, in Koh Lanta, means discovering different techniques in a specific area of diving. In other words, it’s like taking a baptism in an area specialized in scuba diving.
In addition, there are more than twenty specialty training at PADI. You will certainly find an area that interests you to become an PADI Adventure Diver, here in Koh Lanta.

How to become Adventure Diver PADI

Each 1st dive of a PADI specialty can be the subject of a PADI adventure dive. As a result, once you have done 3, you will be eligible for the PADI Adventure Diver certification.

Get credit for specialty training!
Each Adventure Dive can also be credited towards the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver or Specialty Diver course.
In any event, whether you’ve done an adventure dive on Koh Lanta or anywhere else in the world, ask your instructor if you get credit for the inherent specialty.

PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 10 years old and want to take the next step should enroll in an Adventure Diver course. Young divers may only participate in certain Adventures Dives – check with us.

You can choose what you’re most interested in learning. Need to work on your buoyancy skills? Try the Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure Dive. Want to know what you’re looking at down there? Try the AWARE – Fish Identification or Underwater Naturalist Adventure Dives. You’ll plan your path with your instructor, go over what you need to know and dive in quickly.


  • 8’900 THB – Training on 1 day, 3 dives among the above specialties
  • All the equipment needed for snorkeling dive
  • Your teaching material in English (if existing)
  • PADI certification
  • An English or French-speaking instructor (up to you)
  • Small group of 2 peoples maximum
  • Transfer from your hotel to the port and from the port to your hotel
