Try Scuba SSI in Koh Lanta
The SSI Try Scuba program with Apo Dhatu Divers on Koh Lanta is an introductory dive for both adults and children (over eight years old).
It’s a wonderful way to learn scuba diving safely, accompanied by an SSI dive professional. The Try Scuba Introductory Dive limits the maximum dive depth to 5 meters!
Younger divers can share the joys of diving with their family or even start a new passion! Participants should be comfortable in the water, but they don’t need to be experienced swimmers.
During the Try Scuba program with Apo Dhatu Divers on Koh Lanta
- Pool sessions last approximately two hours (registration, equipment, and entertainment included).
- The experience is also possible at sea (maximum depth of 5 meters).
SSI Try Scuba participants have the opportunity to:
Discover scuba diving under the direct supervision of an SSI Pro.
Take their first breaths underwater in waters shallower than 5 meters.
Experience and use scuba equipment designed to make you as comfortable as possible.

Equipment
As part of the Try Scuba program, participants receive a basic introduction to scuba equipment use and an overview of the dos and don’ts of breathing. Apo Dhatu Divers will advise you on everything you need.

- 2,200 bahts – 2-hours program, in our pool only
- 2,400 bahts – 2-hours program, in your hotel pool only
- 2,700 bahts – 2-hours program, from the beach only (10 years and over only)
- 3,000 bahts – 2-hours program, in your private pool only
- 4,600 bahts – 1-day program, 2 boat dives on marine national park (8 years and over only)
- 6,600 bahts – 2-hours pool program and 1 day with 2 boat dives on marine national park (8 years and over only)
