Cancellation Policy & Refund Terms

1. General Terms & Notice Periods

  • Standard Activities, Courses & Try Scuba: Free cancellation or reschedule request up to 24 hours before the activity (at the latest by 5:00 PM the day before).
  • Private Activities (Private Boat Charter): Free cancellation or reschedule request up to 48 hours before the activity (at the latest by 5:00 PM two days before).
  • Marine National Park Fees: Any National Park ticket or deposit paid in advance will be fully refunded in the event of a cancellation made in accordance with the rules or due to circumstances beyond control.
  • No-Show: If a customer fails to show up on the day of the activity without prior notice within the required timeframe, the full amount for the day remains due to Apo Dhatu Divers and no refund will be issued.

2. Certification Courses (SSI)

  • More than 24 hours in advance (before 5:00 PM the day before): Full or Pro-rata refund, excluding digital learning materials (SSI online theory kit) valued at 5,000 THB per person, which are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Less than 24 hours in advance (after 5:00 PM the day before): 50% refund of the total course amount (after deducting the 5,000 THB/person learning material fee).
  • Cancellation during the course (Day-Of): Pro-rata refund for practical activities not yet completed, after deducting the learning material fee (5,000 THB/person) and any days/modules already completed.

3. Try Scuba Diving (Try Scuba / Basic Diver)

  • More than 24 hours in advance (before 5:00 PM the day before): Full or Pro-rata refund, excluding the educational/registration kit valued at 500 THB per person, which is non-refundable.
  • Less than 24 hours in advance (after 5:00 PM the day before): 50% refund of the total Try Scuba amount (after deducting the 500 THB/person educational kit fee).
  • Same-day cancellation: Pro-rata refund for services not performed, after deducting the educational kit fee (500 THB/person) and any modules already completed.

4. Marine Excursions & Other Activities (Fun Dives, Snorkeling, etc.)

  • More than 24 hours in advance (before 5:00 PM the day before): Full refund of the amount paid.
  • Less than 24 hours in advance (after 5:00 PM the day before): 50% refund of the total activity amount (the deposit paid will be retained).
  • Same day (Day-Of): No refund will be granted for a sea trip canceled on the same day. The full amount for the day remains due to Apo Dhatu Divers.

5. Private Boat Charter (Privatization)

  • More than 48 hours in advance (before 5:00 PM two days before): Full refund or free rescheduling of the service.
  • Less than 48 hours in advance (after 5:00 PM two days before) or same day: The total amount of the service remains due and no refund can be requested.

Note: If the amount already paid (deposit) is less than the remaining balance due according to the conditions above, the client agrees to settle the outstanding balance with Apo Dhatu Divers.
