Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
You don’t need to be a strong swimmer, and a reasonable level of physical fitness is enough. Your instructor stays right by your side at all times to manage your buoyancy and ensure your comfort underwater.
What is the minimum age for an introductory dive?
Our boat-based ocean program is open to children aged 10 and above. (A dedicated program limited to a maximum depth of 5 meters is available for younger children aged 8 and 9, in a pool only).
What if I want to continue after my introductory dive?
If you love the experience and want to take it further, your SSI introductory dive can be directly credited toward the first step of your SSI Open Water Diver certification!
