If you want to broaden your knowledge without committing to a certified course, the SSI Basic Diver program, offered by Apo Dhatu Divers, will help you determine if you enjoy scuba diving.
Although it’s not a true diving certification, your introductory dive on Koh Lanta will allow you to learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and discover, during a quick and easy introduction, what exploring the underwater world is like.

This program is similar to the Try Scuba program, offering a more intense immersion experience and even more thrills.

You’ll learn techniques that will allow you to become very comfortable underwater and have a closer interaction with marine life, with the respect and kindness that this place demands.

Whether you are alone or in a group, whether you are an excellent swimmer or a casual swimmer, this activity will surprise you.

After a few explanations, this will be enough to allow you to fully appreciate this first dive. Especially under the direct supervision of an SSI professional. There is nothing like the very first breath underwater.
