No need to be an \u201cexperienced\u201d diver to follow the Advanced Diver SSI training<\/strong> in Koh Lanta. In addition, this advanced SSI training<\/strong> is made so that you can participate in it right after your SSI Open Water Diver<\/a>. Therefore, this course builds on the Open Water Diver<\/a> course and imparts additional techniques and experiences. The focus is on concrete dives in different specialist areas.<\/p>

Get credit! Each Adventure Dive may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding\u00a0SSI Specialty Diver Course<\/a>. If you\u2019ve already taken a specialty diver course, ask your instructor if you\u2019ve earned credit for an Adventure Dive.<\/p>

SSI (Junior) Open Water Divers<\/a> who are at least 12 years old are ready to step up and enroll in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. Young divers may only participate in certain Adventures Dives \u2013 check with your SSI<\/a> Instructor.<\/p>

If you\u2019re already an\u00a0Adventure Diver<\/a>, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Adventurer certification.<\/p>

You\u2019ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives \u2013 Deep<\/a> and Underwater Navigation<\/a> \u2013 and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives.
During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.<\/p>

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have \u2013 Photo & Video<\/a>, Perfect Buoyancy<\/a>, Fish Identification<\/a>, exploring wrecks and many more.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
